Inspired Kathy’s Review:
Sari Foods Organic Spirulina Powder
As part of my ongoing quest to become healthier I have been drinking a green smoothie everyday. The first thing I opted to use this Spirulina Powder for was as an additive to my daily smoothie. The serving size on the package says 1 Tablespoon so the first time I tried it I put an entire Tablespoon into my smoothie. Surprisingly despite the very vivid dark green color it turned my smoothie it still tasted good. I could tell I had added something different to my smoothie but had no trouble drinking it. After that first experiment I perused the recipe ebook that the company send after purchasing and saw that it was suggested to use 1 teaspoon of Spirulina to a smoothie so I have scaled back the amount I add to my smoothie.
This product has a very pungent noticeable odor. I have only ever used Spirulina capsules before so I have no way to compare it to other powders but be aware that it does not have the most pleasant of odors. Once mixed into a recipe I no longer notice the odor.
I have a whole list of new recipes I want to try to add this powder to thanks to the free ebook. And I’m grateful to have an alternative to using green food coloring on St. Patrick’s day as this can be added to pancakes, rice, drinks, popcorn and various other foods.
I intend to use this product on a regular basis in my smoothies as well as sneaking it in to any recipe I can. This seems to be a high quality supplement with multiple health benefits that is definitely worth adding to your daily regimen.
My Rating: 5 Stars – Love this product

If Nature were to make a multi-vitamin, this would be it!
Spirulina is a 100% Whole Food Based source of naturally occurring and bioavailable nutrients, including Protein, Essential Amino Acids (Gamma-Linolenic Acid – GLA; Omega 3, 6, 9’s), Iron, Beta-Carotene, Chlorophyll, Antioxidants, Folate (known in the synthetic world as Folic Acid), Phytonutrients and Prebiotics.
Our organic spirulina is harvested in natural freshwater lakes, dried and then pulverized into a fine powder so that the beneficial nutrients are accessible to you on a daily basis.
And because they are naturally occurring, these nutrients are more easily broken down and absorbed, making them more bioavailable as they work together to promote health and wellness in the human body.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
