Inspired Kathy’s Review:
Pouch2Go Reusable Food Pouch
My kids love the applesauce pouches that they are often sampling when we visit Costco. I have bought them a few times in the past but they are expensive so I don’t buy them often.
I was excited for the chance to review these Pouch2 Go reusable food pouches. The package come with 5 transparent pouches. I opted to test these with apple sauce.
They were fairly easy to use. You simply open up the zipper on the bottom and pour in the pureed food.
On my first attempt I filled the pouch too full. You do have to leave room to flatten the pouch so you can close the zipper. I had filled it nearly to the zipper and thus had to remove some applesauce so it would close properly.
These seal securely and didn’t leak.
Clean up was easier than I thought it would be. The fact that these pouches are transparent is a huge plus. I can’t imagine trying to be sure these were completely clean if the were not see through. I simply opened the zipper and ran water through them until they were free of any left over applesauce. Then dipped it into some soapy water and rinsed. It says they are dishwasher safe but it seems like it would be touch to keep them open wide enough for a dishwasher to do its job.
The initial investment on these is currently about $3.50 a pouch. After a half dozen uses you would start to save money over buying prefilled pouches from the store. For those who are eco & health conscious these would be a good choice.
