Inspired Kathy’s Review:
Fujikam Wireless Security – Monitoring Camera
I wish I had this camera when my children were infants and toddlers. So many times I wondered if they were actually sleeping when I put them to bed. As I work from home I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer and would have loved to been able to see what they were doing downstairs or in their bedroom while they were out of my sight.
Although there is the capabilities for this to act as a security camera personally I would not rely on it for that. As an extra set of eyes to help monitor children this does the job well.
This isn’t perfect but for $100 I’m very satisfied that this is a good value. The wireless range is limited so it won’t work for me to place it in the far corner room in our basement. It can be hooked up via an Ethernet cord but I don’t have a place to plug it in down there. Just be sure you have a wireless access point close to where you plan to place this camera.
As far as set up I have a teen so it was easy to just hand it to him and say get this working when I didn’t know what to do next. A little bit of a learning curve to figure out how everything works. There is an app to download for monitoring via a phone.
